Our Story

Miss Biscuit started as a home based cookie decorating business. Although we loved selling and decorating, we soon found that people actually wanted to learn how to make their own decorated biscuits rather than buying ours.

So we evolved to meet the needs of our eager customers and started running decorating classes for cookies and cakes, as well as stocking and selling the best supplies for decorating.

We opened our first store in Melbourne in 2016. We are excited to be opening another store in Camberwell in April 2021.

Over time Miss Biscuit grew to become more than classes and an online shop, it evolved into a proud and passionate community, committed to offering the highest quality of classes and the most diverse range of decorating supplies.

As our story continues, we will always strive to capture the old school joy and art of decorating to promote creativity, fun and community.

Our mission is to inspire all Australians to make beautiful biscuits and cakes.

  • How skilled do I need to be for an intermediate class?

    Our intermediate classes are designed to be taken immediately after a beginner class. If you have an understanding of royal icing and simple outlining/flooding you will feel comfortable in an intermediate class.

  • Can my child attend an adult class?

    We allow children aged 12 plus to attend an adult cookie class if they are accompanied by an adult (two tickets must be purchased). The minimum age for attending without an adult is 16 years. The minimum age for cake classes is 16 years. If your child is under this age, check out our children’s classes which run during the school holidays.

  • Can I pay for a class in instalments?

    You can choose Zippay on checkout which means you can book now to secure your date and pay for your class at a later date.

  • When will there be more class dates?

    We are updating class dates all the time. Check back on the website regularly to see new class dates. We generally release classes 2-3 months ahead of time.

  • Can I buy a class as a gift?

    Yes you can! You can purchase a gift card which can be used on anything in store. Purchase an amount for the same price as a class and your recipient can choose their own class date.

  • Do you do private classes?

    Unfortunately we are unable to offer private classes. You can either join an in store class or purchase an online class that can be completed at home.

  • Can I buy a gift card?

    Miss Biscuit classes and products are great for any occasion. Get your gift card here.

  • When will my order be shipped?

    We dispatch your order as soon as we receive it. If you order before 1pm, we will send it that same day.

  • Do you have classes in my city?

    We run classes all around Australia. Check out our calendar of classes.

  • Do you make custom cookies for parties?

    No we don’t. We run biscuit decoration classes and sell decorating supplies. We don’t take orders for cookies or cakes. 

  • Why is there no option for delivery when purchasing online?

    Make sure you have entered your address in the checkout field. Local pickup will show until you have entered an address to send your parcel to.

  • Can I add or change order already placed?

    We do our best to accommodate changes during regular periods. You will need to be quick to add/change however because we ship very quickly after receiving your order. Please contact us here if you need to make a change. Please note we are unable to accommodate changes to orders during sale periods.

  • What is the International shipping rate?

    You can fill your cart and enter your details and on checkout you will be given a shipping price. Shipping rate depends on location and weight of your parcel.

  • Do you have Zip Pay or After Pay?

    We do have Zip Pay, but only on the online store.

  • Can I buy a gift voucher as a present?

    Sure thing! Get your gift card here.

  • When can I expect my order?

    Whilst we will dispatch your order same day if received before 1pm or the next day if received after 1pm. When you receive it will depend on the service you choose (regular or express) and where you are located. You can estimate delivery date via the Australia post website here. Your delivery will be shipped from postcode 3011.
