Cookie & Biscuit Classes

 

Learn how to create beautiful biscuits for your family and friends in one of our incredibly popular decorating classes!

 

We are the premier location for cookie decorating in Australia and our classes have been attended by thousands of Australians across six states. Our classes have also run in Dubai, Doha, Mumbai, Muscat, Beirut, London and New York city.

 

Our classes are not just about creating beautiful biscuits on the day of your class but are very much about giving you ALL of the information and resources you need to be able to create gorgeous trouble free royal icing cookies on an ongoing basis. We share all of our royal icing tricks and tips and we share our experiences with shelf life, storage, allergy adaptations, and other top tips for businesses. We give you all of our recipes and demonstrate how to bake the perfect cookie as well as how to make, colour and pipe with royal icing.

After the class you will be sent an invitation to join our private Facebook group. Our group has over 2000 members and is a fabulous ongoing resource for support and advice as well as for sharing photos and results.

 

Beginner’s Comprehensive Class 2019 – Garden Theme

Melbourne / Sydney / Brisbane

 

 

Suitable for those with little or no experience with baking and decorating cookies. This course covers

Baking techniques (reducing spreading/even thickness)
Making, flavouring and colouring royal icing (demonstration)
Consistencies for outlining and flooding
Wet on wet techniques
Decorating basic shapes with multiple colours
Using fondant moulds
Simple wood grain effect
Decorating stages
Drying/storing/shelf life/allergy adaptations

Each participant will take home a gorgeous box of 8-9 completed cookies.

DURATION: 5 hours

COST: $225 (lunch/snacks/drinks included)

Included in all courses is a recipe booklet which includes recipes for the Miss Biscuit vanilla base and gingerbread base and also royal icing. Intermediate Class – Hello Little One

Cake Lace Demonstration

Come and join us in a 30 minute demonstration on using cake lace. Learn how to make the lace, apply it to cakes or cookies, colour or paint the lace, and store it.
